Food Supplies Reach Kitchenistan

Aid workers were allowed into Kitchenistan this evening. You can view their shocking video in the window above. It shows the first complete view of the territories in more than half a year.

The workers delivered desperately needed food from foreign suppliers. For the first time, food supplies were put into refrigerated storage. Two bags of fresh produce, meat, and groceries from the new Treasure Island in Hyde Park were laid into storage---along with some swanky newfangled beers (thanks Kyle!). This momentous occasion does seem to mark a turning point in the fortunes of Kitchenistan. The darkest days are clearly over.

Aid workers reported observing:

  • Freshly painted walls (the right color)
  • Installed stove, refrigerator, dish washer, and vented microwave
  • New chandelier, with electrical for seemingly another large fixture

Apparently, additional infrastructure is on the way. According to Kitchenistani sources, additional lighting, switches, and drainage infrastructure are due today.
