Where did those stairs come from?

Stairs appeared on our elevated patio yesterday.

They are supposed to be there, just were not expecting them. The same crew that fabricated our bench supports had been tasked to weld the steel stairs leading up to the patio in the back. They were supposed to come to take measurements last weekend---though nobody saw them show up. Apparently they did, as the fruits of that labor are not bolted to our foundation wall. Unfortunately, I do not think they measured right. They seem to be sitting on the new concrete pathway, instead of directly on the ground. We will see how that ends up...

I expect to get a delivery date on floors (currently being milled from decking in Austin) and cabinet boxes (being cut in Colorado), as well as maybe seeing initial samples from the stucco guys (they set up scaffolding, but it was far too cold to mix up the slop last week) and the guy building cabinet doors (near Chinatown in Chicago). Hopefully a big week.
