Forms are done...
No inspections necessary...
So its time to pour some concrete, right? Wrong.. No wait, right!
...ummm, no...wrong...
Didn't happen today. Maybe tomorrow. No complaints though, this has moved as fast as we could have possibly expected. Thankfully, Jeremy is around to make sure it does not go TOO fast---channels weren't set quite right, forms weren't quite straight. But we are all good now. Might have some slop to cure over the weekend!
Tomorrow, I am going with Jeremy and the architect to gawk at some lady's door on the north side. We've gone back and forth on what the back door will look like---for a while William really wanted an offset glass panel. We have given him a pretty wide leash with his "vision" but not that long... So, we'll see what this new system looks like. Most of the doors he has shown us are sleek artistic creation from Scandanavia that cost thousands of dollars. With a budget that has expanded past our comfort zone and is in danger of going over already, we need something a bit more...local...and perhaps pedestrian...

Man you should have gotten that salvaged door frame from India. The import costs don't look so bad now compared to the other stuff.
