Concrete work starts today...well, actually excavation for concrete. Hopefully by the end of the day the week patch that was my back yard will be replaced by a large, gaping hole.
My 91 year-old neighbor is thrilled that we will be putting in a new fence between our yard. In the meantime, he has locked his dog...Pup Pup...in the basement so he will not maul any of the contractors. Hopefully a temporary fence will go up soon so that Pup Pup can once again run around his little yard and strike fear in the hearts of neighborhood schoolchildren... I really like the dog, despite his propensity to aggressively borderline bite/nip.
