We will not be lacking for storage...

Cabinet boxes are mostly in place now.

It makes the space feel more like a kitchen...

As you can see from the pictures, the south wall will be lined with floor to ceiling cabinets. They look good for empty boxes, don't ya think?

This shot is from the east, looking west towards the entrance and great wall of Kitchenistan.

The green ladder is popping out from the space reserved for a new, and very lovely, Jenn-Air refrigerator that Jo-Elle ordered this weekend.

(It takes living out of a dorm frig in your dining room to really appreciate how much you love the real thing.)

And the working space---the U where it is all gonna happen---the locus of our working triangle; well, it is also in place now. That's it looking to your left after entering Kitchenistan and passing the currently torn up bathroom.

Exciting stuff, I know.

Actually, there are drawers in place now, and the lovely lamp is only temporary (sure, it is stylin', but it does not fit our loden and pumpkin orange color scheme).

Not kidding on the color scheme, though it does sound like a joke...
