Wonder Walls

Work continues. Now that the insulation is in place, the carpenters have put up sheet rock and a second row of studs.

The tracks for glass are going in today, so the temporary outer wall is gone for the day affording a chance to take this shot which gives a better idea of what the space is going to look like. This is from the doorway looking east, just past the bathroom.

Speaking of the bathroom, it is now reframed. And in the house proper, we once again have stairs to the basement. The electrician unhooked the washing machine and dryer, but at least we can get down to them now...

Since I have the day off, I expect to have lighting and glass orders set this week. Cabinet boxes too. And we might have a couple quotes on cabinet doors. Should have a quote on flooring in the kitchen... And we are oh-so-close to finishing out the room palette. Much more this week.
